Position: Sr. Oracle Developer cum DBA

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Miamisburg, OH

 

Job Description : Oracle DBA with strong troubleshooting skills, performance tuning, Unix shell scripting

Years of experience: 5+ Years

 

Required Skill Sets

 

A mix of DEV DBA and SYSTEM DBA activities with primary Oracle Database and secondary SQL Server

Code migration on Oracle Databases.

Support & deployment activities

Awareness of Oracle Tools and Utilities

Understanding Access Rights, Roles and provisioning, job creation, scheduling etc.

Unix Scripting

Understanding ETL jobs and their support dependencies

Oracle DB Maintenance jobs

Monitoring activities

Release Management (Release of upgrades,3rd party tools), RCA.

Performance Testing, Index Analysis

Preferably SQL Server SSIS/SSRS functions knowledge

SQL Agent jobs management, Data loading activities in SQL Server

Awareness of tools/utilities like...

Erwin Data Modeler, DB Artisan, Modelmart, Putty, Citrix, Oracle Client, Sybase Client, SQL Server Native Client

Ticketing System awareness
