Job Description for the role of Solution Architect at HP R&D business

Overview
The HP R&D account is seeking a senior technologist to play the role of a lead solution architect. This role will help The role will require close collaboration with the account delivery and business development teams, to drive innovation across existing engagements and identify opportunities in new areas, that will help propel the account relationship to a higher wallet share of the client's R&D outsourcing budgets.
Key objectives
§ To help with Develop and execute a solution strategy and business plan that support account growth
§ Shape, design, and plan specific service lines in product area
§ Lead domain skill development strategy and roadmap within the account team.
§ Strategize to supplement MphasiS team's capabilities by Partnership with Vendor teams
Subject Matter Expertise
§ Create and lead an office of the CTO within the account.
§ Act as visionary and strategist for solutiondevelopment, based on his experience with HP Echo system, for upcoming Proposals
§ Survey market landscape for solution insights, direction, vendors, and methods
§ Speak at trade conferences and seek authorship opportunities in trade publications
§ Drive IP generation initiatives within the account and HP engagements.
§ Support HP R&D Teams / Architects in a consultative role on Technology / Roadmap
Pre-Sales support
§ Lead the pre-sales technical solution for HP R&D.
§ Provide inputs for marketing departments to develop marketing materials and position strategies for product area, in conjunction with overall marketing message framework
§ Help business development life cycle by serving as a product SME to help identify and qualify business development opportunities.
