Position : LAN Engineer L3

Location : King of Prussia

Duration : 6+ Months

Job Description:

a. Goal of the project is to migrate the application and infrastructure to the data center of the parent company

b. Key role of the network engineer is to create technical migration plan and work with PM to ensure overall project objectives are met

c. Another key aspect of the role is to help make necessary decisions on technology changes, architecture

d. Work with application teams, business teams, IT teams to make sure migration happens as planned

Technical skills

a. LAN skills – Cisco switches, strong design and implementation understanding of Layer 2 concepts and Layer 3 concepts

b. WAN skills – Connectivity, MPLS understanding big plus

c. Firewall – Strong understanding of perimeters, DMZs, webservers, NAT, access-lists etc… Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls a big plus

d. Overall understanding of end-to-end connectivity, including all the network elements along the way
