Candidate will be responsible for planning, development, execution and management reporting of web interface, access security, and application connector testing. The candidate must have strong functional, integration, and regression test experience. The team will be functioning within a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment that will require vigilance to deadlines, traceability and teamwork.
Candidate must possess strong technical debugging and troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong desire to learn and share knowledge. Candidate must have experience collaborating with business leaders to deliver test strategies and results that focus on effective engagement of business resources. Candidate must have experience working in a multi-vendor outsourced environment.
The candidate will primarily be responsible for manual testing using Quality Center, but automation testing tools experience for functional and non-functional testing would be a plus, QTP / LoadRunner.
The quality assurance engineer will provide project level quality assurance leadership and guidance to maintain specific software quality standards through every phase of the software life cycle (Planning, Requirements, Design, Development, Release Management, Configuration Management, Deployment Management)
- Computer Science Degree or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of software quality assurance experience
- Have demonstrated software testing experience
- Strong analytical skills and experience with testing and defect reporting management, and tracking tools
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, presentation, and project management skills a must.
- Have a passion for achieving excellence in process and product quality and reliability
-Strong understanding of different software development life cycles such as waterfall, iterative (Agile/Scrum), etc. and the use of modern software quality assurance processes and automated tools
- Have experience working with distributed team members
-Be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication
- Ensure delivery against all QA strategic goals and objectives
