Role: Teradata Application DBA

Location: Raritan, NJ

Duration: 6 Months+

Rate: $55/Hour All Inc

ØNature of work

•Infrastructure Engineering Support

•Development Request/Issue Support

•Operational Helpdesk Support

•System Alert & Issues Support

ØScope of Work:

•Teradata DBA at the client to support the new Global Finance System Data Warehouse project

ØActivities

•Complete responsibility for the support of Global Finance System Data Warehouse project

•Interface with BI Informatica & Cognos teams

•Design & implement the production Change Control policy & procedures

•Configure Teradata database system logging, alerting & all the application objects

•Configure & maintain Teradata Viewpoint monitor portlets, NetBackup & GUI interface for backup & restore jobs

•Install all the Teradata 13.10 client software & tools to Linux & Windows servers

•Support development team for hierarchy database design, user profiles & access requests

•Establishing account management for end user security procedures, Rolls and Authorization

•Performance tuning for system workload & application SQL issues trouble shooting

•Implemented & support PDCR (PMCP) system performance reports

•Manage & analyze Teradata system incidents & alters

•Database Capacity management & planning, security, scheduling, & utilities maintenance

ØWork timings

•Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST
