Position               :               SAP Vistex Consultant

Location               :               Columbus, OH

Duration              :               6+ Months

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

 

·   Designs, implements, tests, and supports future state SAP functionality for business processes such as Price Change Notification, EDI Order Processing, Billbacks and Chargebacks, Pricing Analysis, all Order to Cash functions, Delivery Processing, and FSCM integration

• Manages the solution for EDI transactions involving rebate processing via Chargebacks and dispute resolutions for Billbacks

• Debugs and solves complex SAP application issues and applies proven testing methodologies to implement the solution

• Evaluates new and emerging technologies and SAP functionalities to find faster, cost effective, and more reliable solutions for existing and proposed systems

• Partners with infrastructure, application, and quality teams to ensure that systems meet business requirements, are well documented, and have processes in place for ongoing support and maintenance

• Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations

• Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results

• Writes complete and thorough functional specifications that support business needs and that are the basis for SAP technical designs

• Integrates and manages an off-shore SAP development team that supports ECC and Vistex functionalities

• Travels to off-site locations for production support for end users of ECC and Vistex applications

• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills in a highly matrixed and integrated working environment

• Experience researching SAP issues through OSS, applying OSS Notes, evaluating OSS Notes, and testing after OSS Note / Hot Pack applications

• Experience managing to SLA's and consistently achieving pre-defined metrics

• Ability to clearly communicate technology issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solution.

SKILLS:

 

·   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology with minimum of 5 years of field experience in ERP implementations or Master's degree with minimum 3 years of field experience in ERP implementations

• Experience and expertise in project implementation, production support, and upgrades for SAP ECC, Vistex, MDM, SCM, Enterprise Portal, and related SAP modules

• Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting of both inbound and outbound EDI 810, 832, 845, 850, 855, 856, 861, 867, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947, chargebacks and billbacks

• Required experience with EdiFact and X12 EDI standards

• Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting pricing solutions that support dynamic capturing and reporting of daily price changes based on supplier cost information

• Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting order visibility reporting – compiling data from multiple external sources for supply chain tracking and auditing
