Senior Release Engineer/Software Configuration Manager
Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible to work closely with individual project teams to assess the current process, make recommendations, and define the best practices for source code management, with the purpose of ensuring timely delivery of software product in a repeatable and reliable manner.
Extensive knowledge of branch/merge strategies and can recommend when/why to use them based on the project's needs.
Candidate should have experience with Application Lifecycle Management concepts and able to integrate requirement/issue tracking with automated build systems.
Prior experience with configuration management tools like TFS, or MKS, example: Branching, Builds, Reports, Process Guidance, and Documentation.
Candidate should be having very good analytical, design and problem solving skills.
Advocate best SDLC best practices and implementing for the operational efficiency.

Candidate should have experience with being a mentor, cross-trainer, leader and planner. He/She should have hands-on experience in end user's training on release engineering processes and best practices.
