Job Description:
We are seeking a contract developer to work on a data migration project.
This role is involved in design, development & testing of conversion programs.
Candidates must have prior experience with PL/SQL development against an Oracle DB.
The objective of this project is to develop programs/scripts that can be rerun against various Oracle instances to produce ASCII files containing conversion data within the specified format.

 

Requirements:
BA or BS, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or MIS
Strong technical aptitude
Strong understanding of master data management concepts & best practices
Manage multiple assignments and align them with the business priorities & deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience programming with PL/SQL
Experience programming with VB, C#, or other related programming languages a plus
Experience reporting from an Oracle 11g DB
Experience with TOAD development tool
Experience within the insurance industry is a plus
