| Job Description | Job Description: Client is seeking an Oracle Applications Technical / Functional Analyst who is experienced in forecasting and demand planning. The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into solutions, preparing technical specifications, testing, debugging and documenting software programs of varying complexity following the predefined standards and best practices. Analyst works in collaboration with Business Systems Analysts, Oracle DBAs, System Administrators, etc. on all technical and functional aspects of Oracle Demantra modules and is capable of designing processes around Oracle Demantra. The individual should have experience in analyzing complex system requirements, critical business processes and information systems.
Job Role: · Be Proficient in Demantra Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, MRP, Oracle Value Chain Planning, Inventory and Order Management in Oracle EBS 11i/R12 · Document design consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process · Support the business managing and resolving incidents and enhancements · Maintain extensive documentation for all projects with relevant client's resources · Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specification · Review technical solutions · Will work closely with teams performing forecasting and demand planning · Demonstrate analytical and modeling skills · Strong Statistical background · Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions · Oversee the offshore team on incidents and enhancements · Interface at an intermediate level with Business System Analysts and other the Business Engagement Teams during the design, development and testing processes · Review, repair, enhance design · Work with offshore team in completing the day to day development activities · Provide production support · Propose, establish and enforce standards, policies and procedures for team development and architecture · Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods and technologies · Offer support to other team members and mentor |
