We are looking for a Python developer who will be responsible for designing and developing data integration and metadata management services. You will work with a team of EDW, BI, ETL, and Data Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Translate product vision and requirements into software implementation combined with
* intuitive web GU
* flexible metadata
* scalable REST interface
* smooth blend with high performance data integration
- Write clean, reusable, easy-to-troubleshoot, and maintainable code following best practices
- Debug code and resolve problems
- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and data analysts to ensure quality product enhancements
- Follow Agile Scrum methodology
Job Requirements:
Must Have:
- 3+ years of extensive scripting language development experience (Python, Jython, Perl, Javascript, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience working in a Linux development environment
- 3+ years experience with Web technologies such as JQuery, REST, SQLAlchemy, Flask, Django, and CSS
- 3+ years experience with data-driven web application development, with very good understanding of metadata
- Solid hands-on with various database technologies, MySQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with good engineering practices (test, scalability, )
- Ability and enthusiasm in learn and adapt.
