Responsible for maintaining the business objects servers of various versions and environments.
Creating additional users and groups in multiple business objects environments.
Assigning rights in multiple business objects environments.
Migrating Content between multiple business objects environments
Responsible for server settings with in business objects.
Maintaining the business objects components like applying patches etc..
Creating /restoring content backups.
Daily monitoring servers/systems and respond quickly to alerts.
Tuning the business objects servers.
Follow proper quality assurance procedures regarding releasing anything into production.
Monitor and resolve the day to day issues reported within the purview.
Working with application teams/vendors for trouble shooting.
Technical Skills Required:
BO 6.5 Admin/Architecture experience is a must.
Experience with performing BO deployments
Experience on business objects integration with LDAP, SAP etc and Single sign on.
Practical experience using Business Objects Clustering.
Business Objects Universe, Reports, Dashboard development.
Intermediate UNIX and Windows 2008 skills are desired.
Good to have Informatica / Cognos /Hyperion working knowledge
