Position: SAP Project Manager
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Length: 12 month
Rate: $60.00hr all inclusive
Overview:
This ideal PM would have previous exp leading the day to day management of large SAP Data Center (DC) based projects. The Project Manager plays two key roles- one is customer facing, second is internally focused toward project management activities. This person will develop long term value realization plans by defining and managing appropriate portfolio of projects to achieve customer business objectives. Additionally will oversee & document service delivery parameters and methodologies for numerous projects.
Requirements:
1. Must have 5+ yrs managing SAP engagements utilizing SAP methodologies
a. Lead or participate in setting and defining strategy in alignment with IT and EA strategies. Provide DCS Architecture governance. Coordinate the DCS architecture cross-functionally within DCS, Service Operations, and Solution Delivery to ensure overall effectiveness and usability of the architecture in end to end solutions
b. Accountable to maintain a high awareness of industry trends associated with all the technologies in play within the enterprise. Further, this position is responsible for evaluating and recommending new infrastructure solutions and explaining technology trends to function senior leadership.
c. Interact with strategic vendors, other teams within Service Operations and within the SAP project team to develop infrastructure strategy and conceptual/logical architectures.
d. Serve as an "agent of change" to define and drive the enterprises' business and product strategy for infrastructure technology. Provide strategic decision and technical guidance on infrastructure technology initiatives, through participation in Enterprise Architecture. Participate in Solution Architecture reviews as part of PDP and EA processes.
e. Participate and develop solution architectures across the infrastructure stack in Business Unit demand projects with specific architecture/design needs.

3. Must have significant exp Managing & executing cost-effective decisions regarding SAP applications delivery: { ALLIGN strategy & assess against current activities}
4. Must have significant exp facilitating meetings and providing clients with regular reports, identifying and managing issues that may impact the Service delivery to clients.
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
8. Manage project deliverables including project risks, issues, contingencies, communications, project schedules, project financials and change management plans. Verify adherence and performance to standard plans and procedures.
9. Must have experience with Microsoft Project
10. Must have significant project management experience with large implementations
