Role : BO Report Developer (BI)
Location: Honolulu
Skills:
• Must have 6+ years of experience in BI platform and handled customer's Data Marts / Warehouse.
• Expertise in report design and develop requirement to BI report solution using reporting tools (BOXI R2 and WebI).
• Experience in using the advanced features of Business objects in building a universe and make it work efficiently for reporting needs.
• Must have 3 years of experience in Datawarehousing concepts and BI analytical layers
• Expert in SQL coding/querying skills.
• Experience with relational database design/modeling; prior experience with modeling tools such as ERstudio or ERwin is desirable.
• Exposure to basics of Business Objects administration and it's related service architecture.
• Should have strong knowledge in publishing the reports to the repository (Broadcast server) and manage the User access.
Responsibility:
• Responsible for developing Business Object reports pointing to (Multi) source universe.
• Responsible for working on Universe to create Objects and metrics with levels of aggregation.
• Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting any Business Objects related issues at either the universe level or BI Reporting design level.
• Tune the performance of the reports by changing the report design or universe design.
• Responsible for writing SQL queries against the database to validate the working of the reports and Universe design.
• Must have better understanding of Airline domain to coordinate with Business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Must maintain and enhance the existing data mart, exports and reports
• Must diagnose and resolve data mart access and performance issues
• Responsible for designing and implementing specific proof of concepts/components as and when required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, and design and programming techniques.
• Should have excellent communication skills and continuously work with business stake holders and come up with quick solutions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a cross-functional environment.
