Responsibilities & duties :
• Mainframe Software Engineer with 7 + yrs of experience
• In depth mainframe Mainframe COBOL experience working with CICS, IMS, DB2, JCL, web services, and Endevor
• requires knowledge of multi-tier solutions with service orientated architecture background in working on medium to large scale projects ($1 million)Leadership role in MF modernization efforts, preferably for Insurance or Financial vertical
• requires experience in leading a diverse team of individuals as a lead designer with an extreme learning agility in order to deliver a very aggressive projects
• requires working knowledge of offshore teams in addition to work with vendors in the implementation of a highly integrated solution.
• good communication skills in addition to knowledge of financial solutions utilizing payment cards and controls
• Health Insurance knowledge is an added advantage
• In depth knowledge of the software development life cycle and strong process background is required as well as strong familiarity with the Microsoft tools set (Office, Powerpoint, Visio).
Project Description
Require a mainframe Designer – Developer who can work on some critical designs of the payment systems
Work experience & skills :
Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skills)
- Analyze requirements and design solutions for projects and change requests of moderate to high complexity and risk - 7 yrs + exp required
- Design/develop system, application and program code according to business and technical requirements - 7yrs + exp required
- Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality objectives - 5 yrs + exp required
- Implementation of payment solutions - 2 yrs + exp Desired
