Our client is seeking a high energy Senior Systems Administrator to help manage our growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment infrastructure.
the resource will be part of the team that plans, builds, operates and scales the infrastructure that supports 24x7 operations of our customer's mission critical M2M solutions. He/she will be involved in everything from hardware and VM deployments, automation, monitoring, and performance tuning, to working with our developers to resolve live issues.
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Information Systems or equivalent experience
· Requires a minimum 5 years of Linux systems administration experience
· Minimum of 3 years' experience working with RHEL/CentOS Linux in a large scale, mission critical, 24x7 environment
· 2+ years of experience with JBoss (preferred) or Tomcat
· Experience and exposure to Puppet or Chef automation tools
· 3+ years of scripting experience with Python / Ruby (preferred) or other scripting
· Experience with enterprise software environments (SaaS and/or PaaS) is strongly preferred
Preferred Skills:
· Exposure and familiarity with Cognos and/or Oracle Database desired
· Familiarity with Fibre Channel and iSCSI SAN Storage desired
Azure deployment/operations background would be a plus
