Sr. Java Consultant with Eclipselink JPA

Location: McLean, VA

Length: 2+ months

Rate: $/hr + Expenses

 

Detail design, development, documentation, debugging and implementation of technical products, software programming applications. Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

 

Supplier will assist you with the following tasks:

1.       Assist you in troubleshooting and analyzing root cause of complex persistence problems on J2EE application with Java Persistence API (JPA)/EclipseLink layer, where persistence function is done through JPA.

2.       Provide guidance for the proper usage of JPA Cache for complex data models (many entities, many relationships, bidirectional, with inheritance).

3.       Assist you with analyzing your current JPA Entity domain model and its current implementation.

4.       Provide recommendations to achieve stability and reliability in data persistence without design changes.

5.       Assist you in resolving issues around out of sequence Delete / Update JPA issues.

 

Required Skills:

•        8+ years of Java experience required

•        Must have strong hands on experience in Eclipselink JPA – Must be Well Documented

•        Possesses an expert level knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role

•        Functions well in large-scale, complex, cross-functional / platform environment

•        Solid individual performance while also providing direction for others

•        Shares knowledge, coaches and mentors others in area of expertise

•        May serve as technical lead in area of expertise

•        May have duties instructing, directing, and checking the work of others
