Skills:
· In-depth knowledge of AIX, Linux and Solaris.
· Strong experience with system management tools, logical file systems, and client/server environments.
· Experience with HACMP, RACOne and Sun Clustering
· In-depth hardware configuration knowledge
· Shell programming experience
· This position will require off hours work and may involve working shift rotations
· Candidates must have experience in the following areas / technologies: designing and supporting high availability UNIX solutions; UNIX disaster recovery
· Troubleshooting experience and the ability to resolve complex AIX, Linux and Solaris problems
· ITSM Help Desk ticketing system experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Certification in AIX, RedHat Linux and/or Solaris
