Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer
Act as the lead quality assurance representative when the quality manager is off-site. Provide back-up QE support to Sea Systems, and Engineering as required. Provide input to and participate in Configuration Board Activities. Review drawings for inspection requirements and contracts flowdown. Technical support of in-process quality assurance, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and test efforts. Generate, review and approve internal/external MDRs/MRBs. Provide training for in-process inspection personnel. Maintain As-Built-Lists (ABLs) to verify hardware/software configuration. Generate Quality Program Plans and Quality Procedures. Primary Customer QA interface
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred, will consider BS in Electrical Engineering. 5 – 10 years experience in inspection/quality engineering in a military/aerospace manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of AS9100:2009 and ISO9001:2008 is required.
