Title: Oracle DBA
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Responsibility/Skills
- Serve as an expert consultant to application developers to provide expertise on database access paths, configuration, capabilities and constraints
- Build and Troubleshoot RAC on 10g and 11g with ASM
- Write script for RMAN backups
- Shell scripting for automation
- Experience setting up standby databases
- Implementation and maintenance of database Enterprise User Security background a plus.
- Extensive Performance Tuning experience and understanding of the AWR data model to determine historical execution plan changes
- Experience with Golden Gate replication from 9i to 11g database
- Experience with PLSQL Programming and APEX development for maintaining and expanding Database Central Repository
- Experience with PLSQL Programming for partition maintenance, archiving and/or data purging
- OEM 12c experience including its data model for integration with an the RMAN catalog and an internal APEX Central Repository
- Experience with database Flashback
