Requirements:
The architect is responsible for establishing technology standards and providing architecture recommendations and design for the latest release of Business Objects (4.1). This architectural effort will be targeted specifically towards designing and configuring the infrastructure for latest version (4.1) of Business Objects (test, stage, production). In addition, the architect is responsible for developing a conversion, implementation and rollout strategy for test, stage and production environments. Previous experience with 4.x Business Objects upgrades is highly desired.
The architect should be able to perform the following:
· Develop Business Objects technology strategy and roadmap to support project portfolio and business strategy.
· Architect and design technology discipline solutions for Business Objects with infrastructure technical engineers.
· Perform technical problem solving for technology issues.
· Develop detailed architecture documentation for large complex Business Objects implementation. Architect and design technology discipline for a high availability solution.
· Develop a infrastructure and application rollout plan for Business Objects that minimizes business impact.
