Job description :
DBA activities/tasks for the SOW:
· Working with the Relational Databases (Cassandra).
· Working with Oracle Real Application Clusters.
· Working with MySQL and MSSQL.
· 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems.
· Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of databases.
· Management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures.
· Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments.
· Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code.
· Designing database packages and procedures.
· Security and access control.
· Provision of support and assistance to development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications
· Creation and maintenance of SQL queries and routines.
· Provisioning of (database) development and testing environments.
· Working with Oracle 11g Edition Based Redefinition
· Working in a high pressure environment
· Strong Team Player and highest ability to communicate with other teams and business teams
· Working in a fast growing high expectation environment
Other experience
· 5-7 years DBA Experience
· Oracle database experience and willingness to learn new technology
· Experience with design, development and administration of databases.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
