Technical/Functional Skills
• Good Knowledge of advanced UNIX command line interface and scripting.
• Strong ability and Troubleshooting experience to resolve
• Complex AIX, Linux and Solaris problems.
• Strong experience with system management tools, logical
• file systems, and client/server environment.
• In-depth hardware configuration knowledge and shell programming experience.
• Certification in AIX, Redhat Linux and/or Solaris is an advantage.
• VMWare and SAN/NAS storage Knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical
• People.
• Experience with HACMP, RACOne and Sun Clustering
• This position will require off hours work and may involve working shift rotations.
• Good communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Unix administrator should have experience in working with AIX, Linux operating systems. The Unix administrator needs to be a work independently with various application teams with build activities. Effective communication with the IS Application teams is critical to achieving success with this position. The Unix administrator can Support for implementation, troubleshooting, and updates of applications on servers and can support for day-to-day operations in the Development, Test, Stage and Production environments.
