• In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience
• Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2000 ,2005 ,2008R2 &2012 RDBMS on large systems
• Experience in database migration /consolidation activity
• Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
• Experience Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service (Mainly Replication).
• Good Knowledge of backup and restore.
• Experience of Transactional SQL, and SSIS.
• Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security
• Good interpersonal, Good written and oral communication skills
• Required good experience in maintaining, monitoring VLDB databases, replication and clustering.

• Responsible for supporting the SQL Server databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security.
• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system.
• Work to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high resilience and performance tuning.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL.
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.
• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales
• Knowledge in Technical documentation skills.
