Roles & Responsibilities
•Installing RHEL 4 ,5 and , CentOS 4 and 5 with hardware raid configuration and installation of Linux OS using askmethod
•Perform Level 2, Level 3 operations support
•Experience with Migration / consolidation activities/projects
•Configuring LVM as extending Logical Volume and Physical Volume Size
•Experience in Kickstart Installation method using nfs
•Remote administration with ssh service and configuring ssh without password as per user requirement
•Maintenance of DELL ( 2650, 2850, 2950) servers and HP Proliant servers with Hardware troubleshooting
•Working experience on DELL DRAC and HP ILO
•Vendor management with DELL and HP
•User Management
•Patch Management and packages installations
•Working Experience in Ticketing Tools like Remedy , HPOV and CA
•Performance Tuning
•Working in experience in VMware ESX server, creating VMs and installation of OS in virtual machines.
