POSITION
SAP FI/CO
Montvale, NJ (Locals needed)
In-person interview will be required after a phone interview.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare FI/CO Configuration documentation, testing plans and results, system documentation and training materials using approved tools, templates and methods
• Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects.
• Manage project tasks to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget.
• Use application delivery tools and methods to understand and document business requirements; analyze existing and/or new information and applications; propose potential solutions; develop effective business cases; and execute selected technology solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with business users, IT colleagues and external resources to foster teamwork and enable effective application delivery.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
• 6-8 years hands-on configuration experience of SAP FI/CO
• 2 full-life cycle implementations
• Experience with all major areas of FI including LE Consolidations, General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Treasury (TR) and all major areas of CO including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), CO-Internal Order (IO), and EC-Profit Center Accounting (PCA) & CO-PA (Profitability Analysis).
• Conversion experience
• Knowledgeable of Finance business processes and should have some experience leading process design session
• Experience developing functional specification & ABAP
• Testing coordination with the business and documentation of the test procedures is necessary
Preferred but not required -
• Light ABAP
• Some project management
