Job title: Sharepoint techno/functional (Jr and Sr 2 positions)

Location:  Jacksonville, FL

Duration:  12 Months

 

I need 2 resources for Sharepoint techno/functional.  For Level 1 looking to pay $40-43   for level 2 looking to pay $50(8-10+)

 

Looking for a SharePoint "Power User."  Site is implementing SharePoint 2007, and then migrating to SharePoint 2010 and needs business support to assist the internal Site Stewards with understanding the SharePoint capabilities, implementing the governance and information architecture standards already defined, and configuring and deploying new team sites and workflows.  This position is NOT a developer or a PM, but more functionally oriented with a technical capability. 

 

The Level 1

Collects and documents business requirements, maps business processes (as-is and to-be), and advises business users on SharePoint 2007 capabilities

·         Follows governance approval processes for requirements, including using request workflow and tracks requirements status

·         Prepares site level information architecture structures, performs content and metadata analysis and design

·         Conducts high-level design activities to mock-up features, makes recommendations on implementation options, and outline business process flows to SharePoint out-of-the-box capabilities, and/or determines if customizations may be required

·         Configures SharePoint 2007 features and applies business processes to SharePoint capabilities

·         Develops business scenarios for testing purposes • Audit and validate test requirements and results • Validate root cause analysis related to failures

·         Ensure communication and education activities are coordinated with internal and external audiences, provides feedback and support for the communication and user adoption activities

·         Administers and manages site and sub-site security

·         Supports training department to update appropriate training materials and provides support for the training activities

·         Will support the business migration to SharePoint 2010

·         Provides mentoring throughout process for internal client staff and site stewards, giving guidance on best practices and standards, and ensure compliance with client governance, information architecture, and security policies and guidelines.

·         Provides basic SharePoint user and site administration services, monitoring and maintaining department or division capabilities and conducting triage services for user issues.

 

The Level 2 (Senior)

Has all of the above capabilities and responsibilities outlined as well as:

·         Expands on the business needs to develop, implement, maintain, monitor and evaluate SharePoint and Nintex solutions that support the setup and service of statewide products, services and/or business processes, functions and operations for Sales.

·         This individual will provide direction and design the website architecture of both internal and external facing SharePoint sites.

·         Evaluates and recommends improvement opportunities regarding successful functionality and performance of SharePoint, Nintex and other electronic capabilities including:

·         Designing SharePoint website architecture

·         Research, evaluate, implement and manage/support statewide end-to-end operational processes

·         Determining specifications for system modifications

·         Partnering with, and acting as, a subject matter expert on multi functional workgroups

·         Design and configuration of Nintex workflows

 

Qualifications Required

·         Bachelor's degree in relevant area or equivalent work experience. • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Tool Suite • SharePoint Designer is a plus.

·         Level 2 Site Steward positions require: Advanced Nintex Workflow Experience including complex workflow design, SharePoint Designer experience • Knowledge of various transaction formats (SAS, XML, CAML or web services) • Knowledge of Microsoft InfoPath Forms • Knowledge of Data Extract languages (SAS, SQL, etc.) (Preferred) Experience migrating from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 is preferred.

·         ACCURACY/ATTENTION TO DETAIL - Demonstrates working knowledge and ability to process information with high levels of accuracy (e.g., demonstrates specific tools and techniques used to validate a process or an output).

·         MANAGING MULTIPLE PRIORITIES – Demonstrates working experience and ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities. Possesses effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation (e.g. discusses the impact of current assignments on the overall goals and priorities).

·         ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - Demonstrates working knowledge and ability to express oneself and communicate with others verbally; recognizes that verbal communication is more than just language – it includes tone, style and structure (e.g., uses language appropriate to audience and avoids technical jargon).

·         WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS – Demonstrates working knowledge and ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of the language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation (e.g., participates in the development of system or process documentation). 

 

Job Requirements: Advanced SharePoint skills: ability to create advanced workflows Experience with Nintex Strong communication skills Interest in considering a regular position at BCBSF.
