Duration: 1 Year Contract with possible extension

Application Packager Description
Primary Responsibility
• Perform enterprise wide application packaging using WISE Package Studio.
• Utilize customized scripts to automate the installation and deployment of desktop, middleware, and client / server software.
• Creating custom actions for packages
• Perform testing and validation prior to production implementation.
• Communicate capabilities & analyze business requirements to produce an implementation plan.
• Negotiate schedules based upon business needs and workload.
• Take ownership and accountability driving issues to resolution when necessary.
• Assist in creating and maintaining support documentation for deployed applications
• Ability to performing application shimming
• Ability to work independently in a high volume area
• Ability to communicate and interact with all layers in a large complex corporate environment
Tools/Knowledge/Skills Required:
Advanced level knowledge of windows installer, software packaging tools & MSI technologies
Wise Package Studio – Advance level knowledge
VBScript knowledge
Experience packaging for Locked-down environments
Familiarity with VMware environment
Windows XP & Windows 7 OS
User Account Controls (UAC)
Microsoft software applications
SMS/SCCM and Marimba software distribution
Group Policies
Adobe software
Active Directory
Technical writing skills (documentation)
5+ Years Experience

Having knowledge/proven experience with the following is beneficial: Wise Package Studio Flexera App V/ Med V Win7 packaging experience / app compatibility MSI Signing SMS/SCCM
