Job Title: Data Modeler 

Location: Columbia, MD

Duration: 1 year

Description:

Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Experience:

• 8 - 10 years total Data Modeling experience showing expertise in Relational Analysis. 

• 5+ years of Metadata Management experience supporting IT systems development efforts. 

• Experience with Metadata tools like Informatica Metadata Manager and implementing a metadata management strategy.

• Hands on experience with data modeling and data warehousing methodologies

• Working knowledge of Data Dictionary, Metadata Registry, and XML Object Repository

Required technologies:

Oracle 10g or 11g, ERWin ERD Modeling, PL/SQL, DW and BI Background using metadata

Non-Technical skills:

• Excellent writing and presentation skills

• Comfort interacting with senior government architects/CIO

• Strong motivator

• Excellent leadership

• Willingness to work long hours in start-up phase of multi-year enterprise-wide program. 

• Healthcare program background a plus
