Financial Applications Analyst

The applications analystposition requires highly motivated individual with very strong technical,analytical and presentation skills, ability to handle multiple and competingpriorities and work cross-functionally. Candidate must be customer oriented andhave sense of urgency and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:

Workwith the IT, Finance, Sales and Marketing organizations on development andimplementation of reporting system enhancements and fixes.

Translatebusiness needs into system requirements.

Evaluateand articulate proposed business requirements and identify impact, risks, andbenefits of alternative solutions.

Investigatecomplex problems in production environments and suggest solutions to resolvethem.

Providetraining and documentation for users on reporting system functionality.

Criticallyreview existing business processes with relation to revenue and marginreporting and data and process integrity and make recommendations forimprovement.

Reconciledata between reporting systems and explain variances.

Createreports and dashboards using Oracle OBIEE and Essbase tools.

Writetest scripts and validate the data using MS Access, OBIEE, and Oracle SQL toolsto support new ERP system implementation

 

Education:

Bachelors (Tech) or equivalent; Business or Technical area with a MISconcentration is preferred.

Workexperience:

 1 - 3 years as a business or systems analyst.

Technicalskills:

Oracle OBIEE, SAP, Essbase, Microsoft Office products, Brio Query, SQLor MS Access proficiency
