Middleware Engineer

Location: Framingham, MA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Primary Skills Needed
• IBM WebSphere Application Server – v6.0, 6.1, 7.0
o Installation, Configuration, Upgrades, Application Deployment, Trouble shooting.

Our Middleware infrastructure runs mostly on Linux RedHat and Unix AIX systems

 

Must have 7-8 years WAS experience.  

Secondary
• IBM WebSphere Commerce – v6.0, 7.0
• IBM Http Servers – v6.0, 7.0
1. Installation, Configuration, Upgrades, SSL, Trouble shooting.
• IBM WebSphere MQ – v6.0, 7.0
1. Installation, MQ Object creations, configuration, Upgrades,  Trouble shooting.
• NASTEL – MQ Monitoring Alert setup
• Weblogic – v8.0 (old setup, still running)
• Tivoli ITCAM – New setup to monitor WAS performance
• IBM Message Broker – v6.0 (Only Installation & Upgrades – Development is done by a different team)
