Location: Columbia, MO  (Need locals or nearby)

Duration: 6 months

 

Candidates should have a minimum of five years enterprise development and as many of the below technologies as possible.  Great comm. skills needed.  PREFER CANDIDATES ALREADY IN KANSAS CITY, ST. LOUIS, CHICAGO AND OTHER REGIONAL CITIES CLOSE BY.   COLUMBIA, MO IS HALFWAY BETWEEN ST. LOUIS AND KANSAS CITY. .

Tomcat, Glassfish, Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JUnit, SQL(strong SQL skills, but DB agnostic), SOAP &
RESTful web services, XSLT, XQuery Servlets, Mule(ESB), Maven, Ant, Velocity

 

• Currently working with team in Saint Louis headquarters to create a unified clinical viewer/EMR application to be used by all BJC hospitals.
• Responsible for maintenance and development of new features for a large, internally developed clinical viewer Java web application suite for Boone Hospital. 
• Deal directly with end-users, business managers and outside parties to obtain requirements, oversee testing and ensure satisfaction of requirements.
• Wrote standalone application to collect, format and send quarterly ambulance trip reports to a state agency in accordance with state law.
