Position: SharePoint Developer

 

Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ

 

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Rate: DOE

 

Description:

 

* .Net/SharePoint 2010 development; SharePoint 2007 development; web part design, build and packaging; SharePoint feature packaging; Workflow Solutions (Nintex); Quest web part experience; some experience using Central Administration in SharePoint.

 

* Need experience with Silverlight.

 

* Ability to work in a face to face setting. Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form. Ability to document low level detailed requirements and testing documents.

 

* Work in a long term project to migrate a MOSS 2007 application to SharePoint 2010. The project will take the existing functionality and replace it with new features using capabilities available in SP2010, as well as the use of custom code. The system will have approximately 3000 users and potentially external partner vendors.

 

* The Developer will be expected to work in an iterative AGILE methodology and work independently on the user stories assigned to him/her. The developer shall have the ability to demonstrate their understanding of the business need by working directly with the client and then independently implement a solution in the given timeframe (typically 1 - 2 days per user story) .Net development skills, migration experience, and thorough knowledge of MOSS 2007 and experience with SharePoint 2010 are required.
