One of my client is looking for Data Modeler. Location is Eagan, MN. Rate is DOE.

 

Data Management / Data Modeler Contractor Project Responsibilities
The Data Modeler works with a Lead Data Architect to understand, modify or create data warehouse data structures to source claims and membership data from external systems, including database design, data profiling and data mapping. The

The Data Modeler will be responsible for the logical and physical data modeling of claims data from vendor files into or augmenting current data warehouse structures as needed to meet the business requirements.

Inbound warehouse loads:
data profiling
modify or create new IDW claims tables ( including new SDS (staging) tables)
modify or create IDW views
review data mappings
support the DI and Testing teams

Skills and Experience
An individual with 3-5 years of data modeling experience, preferable in data warehousing and 3NF modeling practices.
Knowledgeable in Erwin
Strong SQL experience (for data profiling)
Strong communication skills
Team player
Motivated person able to work independently
