RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for determining systems requirements for new or modified Java Services to consume stored procedures and/or building
Responsible for determining systems requirements for new or modified Java Services to consume stored procedures and/or building
interfaces to the stored procedures.
Is responsible for the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions.
Receive general direction from the Manager.
Work closely with business analysts to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Has 7+ years experience working as a Java/J2EE Developer.
Has 3+ years of experience writing T-SQL or PL-SQL Stored Procedures (both would be a plus).
Has 2+ years of experience with the SQL Server or Oracle Environment (both would be a plus)
Has 5+ years experience of Java JDK 1.4.2 & 1.5, JDBC, Collections, JavaBeans, Concurrency and Multi-Threading.
Has 2+ years of experience with Eclipse, XML, XSLT, Java Message Service (JMS), Hibernate 3.0+, Rational Clearcase
Has Advanced SQL performance & tuning skills.
Embarcadero experience is a plus.
UML and Enterprise Architect is a plus
2-3 of the last 5 years working in the Capital Markets domain is a plus.
