Data Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide data analysis and support for vendor invoices from the (GETS) Information Technology Contract. The candidate will work closely with internal and external billing systems to analyze and validate vendor invoices as well as provide trend analysis. Candidate will be involved in various projects ranging from adhoc reporting and data analysis to database building and data maintenance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualified candidates will have experience in the following areas:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or specialized training
· Three years experience analyzing large data sets.
· Two years experience with trend analysis.
· Experience creating and maintaining inventories.
· Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
· Working directly with all levels of staff and management in the customer departments, as well as different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
Software experience:
· Microsoft Word, Visio, and Power Point.
· Expert knowledge of MS Access and Excel required.
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Experience working in state government
· Experience analyzing vendor invoices.
