Job : Senior Java Web UI Developer

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5-10 years of JavaScript and Java programming experience in developing large scale & public facing web applications
- Strong JAVA/JSF/Hibernate/JDBC experience & with consuming web services
- Strong HTML/CSS experience
- Preference would be for developers who know JavaScript/jQuery or who have worked with IBM DataPower.
- Strong knowledge and in-depth experience with JavaScript-driven UI's
- Strong knowledge and in-depth experience with calling back-end Web Services
- Strong Java/OO Programming experience
- Experience with SDLC and working within a dynamic team.

Urgent Requisition - Junior Java Web UI developer

Location: Vienna, VA
Contract duration: 6+ months
No. of position: 1
Resource is to start ASAP.

This is a request for a Junior Java Web UI developer.  The developer will be working on the NFOAA Authentication project for the eDelivery group. The developer will be building self-service screens for NFOAA Authentication which includes, enrollment, password reset, etc.

- At least 3-5 years of JavaScript and Java programming experience in developing large scale & public facing web applications
- JAVA/JSF/Hibernate/JDBC experience & with consuming web services
- HTML/CSS experience
- Preference would be for a developer who know JavaScript/jQuery or who have worked with IBM DataPower.

Job description:

· Investigates and resolves operational problems/system requirements.

· Ensures development projects are completed by providing project leadership/management expertise

· Coordinates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of projects with customers, other ISD areas, team members, and management

Designs, develops analyzes, and maintains more complex technical solutions

· Documents, diagrams, and organizes systems; develops input/output record layouts, and system workflows.

· Codes programs, prepares test data, tests and debugs programs

· Designs and verifies programs to account for changes in functional and system requirements, equipment configurations.

· Solves highly complex technical problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 5-8 years of Java programming

- MUST : JEE5, JAX-WS Web Service, XML, and WebSphere 7.

Preference for candidates that know:

- 3-tier architecture, Design Patterns, SQL, JAX-RS Web Service, Annotations, SOAP, JAXB, API, JSF, SML Schemas, Schema Validation Struts, MVC framework, JUnit Test Framework, and Log4J

- Experience with SDLC
