Job Title: Java/Database Developer

Location: NYC, NY
Term: 6 + months

Description:

The candidate will work to generate APIs in Java, C++, Scala and other languages using the data in the Metadata database. Work on auto generating code, Message specs, and documentation from the Metadata. Work on integrating new features with existing Metadata database, which will allow the existing system to be used across the firm for storing logical model, logical to physical models, message definitions and API / code generations.

Note: the manager actually wants someone that is about 50/50 with java and DB development skills.

Skills Required

·         Java, XML, XSLT, Perl, JSON, Database development (Sybase or DB2).

·          Worked on Messaging environments, Publish Subscribe architectures, Object Models.

Skills Desired

·         Past experience in a financial institution with experience in meta-models and Metadata based translation.
