Skills Needed:
Strong experience in the programming of application systems and in-depth knowledge of structured programming techniques & various software including:
• IMS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, TSO/MVS Z/OS, JCL, Cobol, CICS, Streamweaver
• Secure FTP ,Easytrieve Plus, CA Tools, and Project Management tools
• Must have mainframe technology experience
• Must have good problem solving skills
• Must be able to modify procedures to solve moderate to complex problems considering system constraints and limitations
• Ability to produce technical procedures and documentation for programs changed and/or developed
• Experience in data transfer and interface methodologies between Mainframes, and Mainframe to Servers in a statewide environment.
• Previous experience in State Government
