Job Title: Build Engineer
Location: Medford, Massachusetts
Duration: 6-12 months

Description:

Designs and implements sound software configuration management methodologies and processes to drive software quality, deployability, and traceability.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•             Define and coordinate configuration management and release automation processes across multiple teams and projects.

•             Control/oversee branching and merging of the code base.

•             Assess tool sets needed for current and future CM needs.

•             Manage scheduling, execution and reporting for builds.

•             Prepare and package production releases.

•             Manage code promotion between environments.

•             Maintain software release versions for safekeeping.

•             Troubleshooting build and deployment problems with assistance from other members of the software/operations engineering groups.
