Position: Oracle DBA PL/SQL Developer

Location: Greater Boston, MA

Duration: 3+ Months

 

seeking a Oracle DBA PL/SQL Developer for a 3+ month contract in the Greater Boston, MA area. The selected resource will be responsible for design and development of database components on one or more concurrent development projects. The position involves working closely with database developers and business users on a variety of company applications.

The role involves participation in following key areas:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Designing high quality and robust data access layers, which includes the design specification of the Stored Procedures

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Standards based development methodology

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Participate and contribute in systems design sessions and contribute to Technical System Specifications (TSD) documents for the database components

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Provide coding and environment support for the Database Development team

This position requires an individual who can work independently and multi-task across several projects. This person must be able to work with a variety of database resources of varying levels, in supporting their efforts. The individual should possess good database and application design skills and also be aware of good application/database support practices. Good development and documentation skills are required as the individual will work with a broad team of resources, and will need to communicate the designs and solutions effectively.

Technical Qualifications

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->7+yrs Oracle PL/SQL required

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Design of data access layers using Oracle Stored Procedures preferred

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Logical & Physical Data Modeling preferred
