Client has a project in need of assistance from a BI developer. This Business Intelligence (BI) developer will be responsible for designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions to create new reports, dashboards and queries.
The responsibilities include analysis and interpretation of complex data stored in the target systems. The BI developer identifies data quality issues and sees them through to resolution. The BI developer works closely with the process teams to gather and validate requirements, test and validate data flow and reports.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop functional/technical design and documents
• Develop and support reporting queries
• Conduct testing of queries
• Conduct testing of BI reports
• Support query performance tuning and reusability
• Support end-users training
• Provide go-live support
• Ongoing support of the end-users as needed post go-live
• Provide ad hoc reporting capabilities as needed post go-live
• Provide Hyperion and SAP BI integration support
• Provide support for development and execution of the cutover plan
Experience Requirements:
• 5 years experience using BI tools and reporting
• Work experience in data warehouse environment – data replication, extraction, transformation, loading and cleansing
• SQL programming skills
• Medical device experience is a plus
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred
Other Requirements:
1. In-depth knowledge of BI concepts practices and procedures
2. Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsRegards
3. Highly self-motivated, quick and creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize, plan and implement Business Intelligence solutions
4. Ability to work in a team as well as function as a team member when necessary
5. Solid understanding of SAP's ASAP methodology is preferred
• Domestic travel up to 10% to NJ and MA.
