Title: SAP BW Frontend Developer

Most important role is the SAP BW Front End developer and the MUST have BEx, Crystal Reports and Xcelsius.
Looking for candidates who can speak to the development and business of the SAP development. What they developed, how it is used in the business.
Expert report developer using SAP reporting and analytical tools. Must have a complete understanding of the entire SAP reporting tool stack. Develops highly efficient reports for the user community. Communicates very well with and interfaces with the business to understand reporting requirements. Works with the backend team to communicate data needs of the business. Works well in a team environment and contributes by sharing ideas and knowledge with the rest of the team.
· Responsible for developing high performance reports that meet the user community needs
· Interfaces with the business to understand their reporting requirements – critical role
· Will become a go to resource for the assigned value-stream business unit
· Provides thoughtful foresight on future needs of the business in reporting, analytics and data presentation
· Works with the backend developer team to communicate the data needs of the customer
· Documents reports and helps to reduce duplicate work
· Develops reports in different tools according to the needs of the business
· Determines the best tool to provide the business what they are looking for
· Should understand the BW architecture and how data is extracted into BW
· Must understand cube/multi-dimensional data stores and databases
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or engineering or Bachelor degree with work experience within the Business Intelligence domain, specifically in BW
· Minimum of 7 years experience in Business Intelligence or Reporting
· Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience building SAP reports in different SAP/Business Object Tools
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP outside of the BW Space (other modules)
· Must have current knowledge and experience with SAP Business Objects 4.0
· Experience with Business Object Platform 4.0
· Understanding of servers, networking, security, monitoring (Solution Manager, etc)
· Excellent written and verbal communications – Highly Critical (Will be interfacing with the business daily)
· Strong analytical skills solving problems outside the norm challenges
· 3+ years experience of reporting from multi-dimensional data marts or data warehouses
· 3+ years of experience with Crystal Reports
· 5+ years of experience with BEx
· 3+ years of experience with Business Objects Dashboard (Xcelsius)
Nice to Have:
· Experience in Aerospace and Defense Industry
· Business Objects Mobility – highly desired
· Experience with other Business Object tools not mentioned above
· Experience in Business Objects Predictive Analysis or other Predictive Analytics tool
