Job Title : Java Developer
Location : New York City,NY
Duration : 6+month contract

 

Need EAD, or GREEN CARD

 

MUST HAVES:
8 years of java development experience-- last 2 years specifically working with UI JavaScript
Specific experience developing JavaScript in web applications not just developing certain portions of  a website
Experience coding native JavaScript and single page application
Experience with MVC framework on the client side
Proficient with web application development which includes Fession management, cross browser, and cross domain issues
Experience with restful API
Experience developing in an Agile environment
Interpersonal skills;  good communication

 

PLUS:
Experience working on a high transactional website
Financial services experience – specifically with retail brokerage
Experience coding with Backbone
Experience with Flex

 

D2D:
This person will be working on the trading application "tradearchitect" for maintenance as well as new development. They will be in a lead role helping to develop the other 4 developers on the team. They will be interfacing with the product managing office as well as the business side to implement any changes requested – looking for someone who requires limited supervision!
