Job Description
· Candidate must be familiar with and able to stand up a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
· Candidate will manage network performance and maintain security related to VDI
· Executes test procedures to assess systems performance, identify and troubleshoot difficult or unusual problems, and analyze results for the implementation of system upgrades
· The candidate will assume a technical leadership or supervisory role in the Citrix area and assist in others as required. Monitors server resource allocation/utilization and performs capacity planning. Maintains expertise with, and advises management on, current technologies
· Prepares technical performance and utilization reports as required for executive management
· CCA Citrix Certification preferred
· Experience with Desktop Virtualization
· Experienced with Citrix, VMWare, and HP Blade technology
· Thorough understanding of virtual desktop technology, VMWare, COTS, GOTS, and Active Directory
· At least 4 years' experience in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer network
· Thorough knowledge of computer network telecommunications, Windows Server operating systems, and the TCP/IP protocol
· Thorough knowledge of network management protocols and related standard tools
Thorough knowledge of network-based application software such as Exchange, and SMSThanks & Regards
