Position:.NET / SharePoint Software Developer

SUMMARY:
The .Net/SharePoint Software Developer will participate in all phases of the development life cycle including, but not limited to, design, coding, unit testing and support. The position requires strong user interface development skills for mobile solutions with minimal oversight.
This person will be responsible for the installation, performance, support and maintenance of all SharePoint and .NET-based Enterprise Level Applications. The qualified candidate also maintains and administers SharePoint Search Services; Shared Services Providers (SSP) and SharePoint application services such as Excel Services and SQL Reporting Services in a high paced environment; have working knowledge and experience integrating SharePoint 2010 with Active Directory.
The candidate will perform and test routine SharePoint backups and restores. Work with customer and developers to design and develop SharePoint functionalities that meet business requirements. Work with development team to design, develop, and implement Web-enabled applications using ASP .NET 3.0 / 4.0, JavaScript, Visual Studio 2008/2010, Microsoft Team System, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, basic Java script and other Microsoft-based technologies for implementation within the SharePoint farm platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement requirements defined by the business in a collaborative fashion with a high degree of quality.
* Performs all aspects of programming assignments and assists Solutions Architect with future systems design and integration.
* Work with Business Analysts, SMEs and other project team members to deliver first in class applications with a strong focus on quality.
* Assists in creating enterprise level application and custom integration solutions.
* Provide tier-3 support for troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in production systems.
* Ability to create, document and execute unit tests prior to releasing code.
* Develop custom SharePoint web parts.
* Develop custom web applications.
* Determine development time lines.
* Write functional specifications.
* Produce and review technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical area.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience troubleshooting interactivity between web/mobile devices (UI) and backend databases
* Experience in object-oriented JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery, MooTools etc.
* Strong experience in JavaScript debugging (i.e. Firebug)
* Strong experience or knowledge of CSS, HTML, XML
* Experience with JSON a plus
* Proven competence in object oriented design and development using the .Net 2.0, 3.5 or 4.0 frameworks.
* Working knowledge of SQL 2005 and 2008
* Working knowledge of virtualization technologies
* Demonstrated analytical and diagnostic skills
* 5 years hands-on development experience.
* Must have C# .Net, HTML, IIS, XML, and SQL experience with SharePoint (custom web parts), web
applications, and web services.
* 2+ years developing and supporting mobile technologies
* Minimum 5 years .Net and SharePoint
* Experience working with a .Net CMS(Sitecore, Kentico, Ektron, Sitefinity, SharePoint or similar)
* Debugging skills: debug complex technical issues involving communication across multiple systems
* Experience with CMS and CRM
