Title: Ruby on Rails
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Duration: 6 months + renewal
Basic Qualifications:
Proficient with Web technologies
5 years experience developing highly interactive, internet applications
Experience developing web portals, particularly with MVC architecture/design in Ruby on Rails x 3
Expertise in CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, web services, and code level HTML
Experience developing in a Linux environment
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years experience developing highly interactive, internet applications
Experience developing web portals, particularly with MVC architecture/design in Ruby on Rails
Expertise in CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, web services, and code level HTML
Experience developing in a Linux environment
BS or MS in Computer Science
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts
Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly innovative and fast-4paced environment
Proven ability to work within ambiguous design constraints
Work well in teams and respect and welcome ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
A solid understanding of web design principles and best use of current web technologies and scalable dynamic user interfaces
Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
Experience with developer tools and code repositories including but not limited to Eclipse, Firebug, Perforce
Knowledge of internationalization techniques for the web
