JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

·         Manage and maintain Microsoft Operating Systems Security Vulnerabilities Patch Management.

·         Administer and oversee testing and roll out of patches, hot-fixes and applications across desktop, server, virtual and thin client environments

·         Communicate information and required implementation timelines as defined by the Wintel Patch Management & Compliance Policies

·         Oversee and control the deployment and maintenance of operating system patches, hot fixes and security vulnerabilities

·         Work with IT teams to investigate and address patch events along with tracking user experiences

·         Perform follow up on issues or failed deployments seeing them to completion

·         Create and maintain custom collections, packages, advertisements and reports for patch the mgmt. support function

·         Oversee and maintain Patch Mgmt.& Comp Metrics/ Patch Remediation - Deployment assessments, and validation on SCCM data

·         Install and support system utilities and support tools for the management and maintenance of Wintel devices and automation of software auditing

·         Manage and maintain system and platform configuration tools (Microsofts SCCM) and enforce policy and configuration standards across the global environment

·         The Candidate should also have strong skills using Microsoft Management technologies, to include Active Directory Services(AD) and Windows Server Update Skills (WSUS) skills.

·         Assist in the quick resolution of PCI compliance Vulnerabilities for Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 Server's.
