Position: SFDC Developer
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Duration: 6 + Months
Responsibilities
· Work closely with team members to design, develop, and enhance product features
· Code business logic using Apex classes and triggers
· Code user interface using VisualForce and Javascript
· Code unit tests in Apex
· Use REST and SOAP to integrate with external systems
· Document (comment) all code
· Use source code control to track and associate all changes with appropriate work items
· Demonstrate in-progress and completed features frequently, and act on feedback
· Support QA in functional and system level testing
· Research and fix defects as identified
· Help build and manage Salesforce development and test environments
Expectations
· Superb verbal and written communication skills. This is critically important since scrum process favors a shared understanding of a feature over voluminous documentation.
· Motivation to seek answers and feedback from the team as soon as required, rather than relying upon specifications or waiting for the next meeting or status check
· Willingness to work on any task required to meet a sprint commitment
Experience
· Minimum of 6-8 years development experience using C#, Java, and/or Salesforce Apex
· Minimum of 3 years experience developing in Apex on the Salesforce platform
· Experience developing using the Scrum methodology or other agile methodology
· Microsoft .NET development skills and experience are a big plus
