We have an urgent requirement for Informatica Developer

Title: Informatica Developer

 

Location: Detroit, MI

 

Required Skills:

·         experience working as an ETL/Informatica Developer; Power Center versions 9.x/8.x/7.x

·         Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications (Source to Client Mapping, Technical Design Documents)

·         Strong experience in Oracle and Unix

·         Excellent communication skills and team player.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Design and develop complex transformations using Informatica power center

·         Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. Assists project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks.

·         Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs

 

Required Skills/Experience:

·         Strong experience with Power Exchange (5.1 and above).

·         Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills and ability to work independently with diverse group of users, managers and subject matter experts.

·         Ability to proactively communicate and collaborate with External/Internal customers to analyz functional and technical requirements.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills with thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate into Technical Specs

·         Good understanding of ETL/Database best practices and industry standards

·         Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Knowledge of SQL and stored procedures

·         Good documentation practices

·         Ability to create and execute unit test cases

·         Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and relational databases

·         Interview -face to face required

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

·         Mainframe experience

·         BA experience

·         Health Care Experience
