Job Title: QA Test Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 12+ Months

Description:

Our client is creating a new product to integrate with their next generation Digital Broadband Delivery System (DBDS) architecture. We are looking for Automation Test Engineers to automate testing for our next-generation server. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work with developers to automate tests for new technology and new features. This individual will create JUnit and Cucumber test scripts and work with developers in an Agile environment. This individual will attend Scrum meetings and work closely with developers and communicate throughout various levels in the organization.

 

Candidate Minimum Requirements:

Ability to work well alone and with others in a team environment

2-5 years experience in Java software development and testing (able to write automation scripts using java)

Strong scripting languages ability in the following (Junit, Cucumber)

Knowledge of mocking frameworks, preferably Mockito

Strong back end middleware and API automation using : Web, SOA/API, REST/API, XML/API, JSON

Experience with Eclipse IDE

Experienced with Agile Methodologies, TDD and BDD

Experience with Continuous Integration environments and frameworks, preferably Jenkins

Experience in unit, system and functional software test automation

 

Desired (Pluses):

SCM Tools: SVN, GIT

Maven

SQL, Postgress, Oracle

Jabber

Linux, Unix
